Our Funding Policy
The trustees will only consider applications from registered charities that are registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
The criteria for applications for grants are:
1. Grants will generally only be made for specific projects which would not be eligible for fully funded assistance elsewhere.
2. The trustees will decide on the amount of the grant awarded on an individual basis; they will generally be single grants of £5,000 or more.
3. Matched funding will normally be required to be demonstrated.
4. Normally support will not be given to a charity whose annual income exceeds £100,000.
Applications from registered charities will only be considered if they are made by completing the application form available and submitting it on-line. Postal applications will not be considered.
Please note that it can take up to one year before awards are agreed by the trustees, as they would usually be discussed in the Trustees’ Annual General Meeting.
